In April of 2020 Pathway to Purpose launched the College Study Flashcards as a fun and simple solution to empower students and adults alike. The idea was forged by Founder & CEO Samantha Sinclair’s interest to increase impact within and beyond the 23 NYC school districts, 48 different schools and over 10,000 students we’ve worked with. The categories were chosen based on the most relevant and popular topics from our 887 student and parent college prep workshops; Financial Aid, College Resources, Types of Colleges, Affirmations and Entrepreneur. With your help and support we envision empowering 1,000,000 students with the College Study Flashcards so that college and career prep remains a top priority at home, in school or on the go.
GREAT NEWS
American Express recently announced our very own Founder & CEO Samatha Sinclair and Pathway to Purpose as one of the 100 Black women entrepreneurs selected for its “100 for 100” program and grant award. The initiative in partnership with IFundWomen of Color provides each recipient with a grant of $25,000 and 100 days of resources, including business education, mentorship, marketing, and virtual networking (view Pathway to Purpose placement under community on the American Express Founders of Change page). This recognition is not just a win for Pathway to Purpose, it’s a clear signal to students that despite all challenges, the education community at large is rallying to ensure they have the resources to ignite their bright future. In addition to American Express, Paypal, Salesforce and Financial Gym support the Pathway to Purpose mission of empowering 1,000,000 students through our College Study Flashcards. We are far stronger when we work together, as parents, educators, community-based organizations and corporations, to uplift students ambitions for future college and career success.

This holiday season, an investment in education is more important than ever.
